About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Workflow Automation Specialist for a full-time role at Unleashed Brands. In this position, you will use Make.com (formerly Integromat), a leading no-code automation platform, to design and implement automated workflows that connect various systems across our organization. You will work cross-functionally with teams in Finance, Legal, and Sales to streamline end-to-end processes, integrating tools such as Box.com, DocuSign, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, and accounting systems. The ideal candidate is proficient with Make.com and experienced in coding, particularly JavaScript, to customize workflows and drive efficiency through automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage integrations across key business platforms to streamline workflow automation.
  • Use Make.com to design, build, and maintain custom workflows that ensure different business tools (e.g., Box, DocuSign, Smartsheet, Office 365, finance apps) work together seamlessly.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, Sales, and other departments to understand their process needs and deliver automated solutions that support business goals.
  • Identify manual processes or bottlenecks in these teams and propose automation strategies to increase efficiency.
  • Leverage Make.com's library of 2,500+ app integrations and its API connectivity to connect required services.
  • Utilize custom code (JavaScript modules or scripts) within Make to achieve complex transformations or integrations beyond out-of-the-box capabilities.
  • Set up, test, and monitor automated workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues or errors in scenarios, and optimize workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Document automated processes and integrations clearly, including process flow diagrams and scenario documentation in Make.
  • Provide training or guidance to end-users and stakeholders on how new automations work.
  • Work with IT and security teams to ensure automations comply with data governance and security policies.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building complex workflows with Make.com (Integromat) or similar automation platforms.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, etc., to create integrations and workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming, especially JavaScript, to write custom functions or modules within Make.com scenarios.
  • Familiarity with JSON, RESTful APIs, and webhooks for app integrations.
  • Solid understanding of connecting and authenticating with various SaaS application APIs such as Box, DocuSign, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with CRM/ERP or other business system integrations and APIs.
  • Strong analytical skills to map out business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into automated solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and handle data accurately.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other automation and workflow tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Nintex.
  • Familiarity with additional SaaS platforms like Airtable or Nintex.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Background in business processes within Finance, Legal, or Sales domains.
  • Certifications in automation platforms or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, RPA).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in process automation, workflow design, or digital transformation.
  • Proficiency with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make/Integromat, UiPath, Nintex.
