About the Role

The Marketing Operations team at HarperCollins Christian Publishing is looking for a book-loving intern to join us in a paid summer role. We work across every publishing division, connecting with authors, editors, sales teams, and marketers to keep the business running smoothly. This is a fast-paced environment where flexibility is key, collaboration is constant, and no two days are the same! Key Responsibilities

  • Get certified: Gain in-depth knowledge of all things digital marketing and earn multiple platform certifications.
  • Master SEO tools: Work with SEO platforms to analyze websites and uncover actionable insights.
  • Be part of the action: Attend editorial, marketing, and titling meetings to experience the publishing life cycle.
  • Learn social: Assist with social media strategies, from social listening to crafting content plans.
  • Spot the trends: Research the latest marketing and consumer trends to help our imprints stay ahead of the curve.
  • Crack Amazon's algorithm: Explore Amazon's marketing options and learn the art of metadata optimization.
  • Crunch the numbers: Present data analytics and reporting to key stakeholders to drive better decisions.

Requirements

  • Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2026 or 2027.
  • Open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master's students, or entry level candidates with up to two years of work experience.
  • Candidates must be available to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 8 to August 13, 2026.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory in-office days at our Nashville headquarters, while Mondays and Thursdays are remote workdays.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • A resume and cover letter are required; applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
  • Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master's program.
  • A passion for books is highly valued.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with any of the following tools: Excel, Canva, Airtable, SQL, or PowerBI.

  • Available to work full-time in summer 2026 or 2027.
