Key Responsibilities

Work on the Thoroughbred Bulk Terminal (TBT) Operations and Sales team responsible for 36 Norfolk Southern owned transloading terminals.
Assist in maximizing profitability, developing new business opportunities, and managing day-to-day terminal operations.
Collaborate with commercial sales teams to develop new business leads.
Analyze data on current business and understand customer supply chains.
Participate in understanding and supporting supply chain solutions at terminals.
Conduct research studies to provide actionable business intelligence to team members and senior management.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills to analyze data related to opportunities and supply chain solutions.
Solid interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, operators, leadership, and customers.
Ability to participate on high-functioning teams and craft and deliver presentations.
Self-starter willing to learn the complexity of supply chains and spend time in the field at terminals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.

Nice to Have

Preferred degree paths include Supply Chain Management, Lean Operations, Logistics, Economics, Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Statistics.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.

Benefits & Perks

Monthly compensation based on academic standing, ranging from $3,538 to $5,200.
Living stipend of $850/month available to those who qualify.
