About the Role

As a Strategic Marketing Intern at MKS Instruments, you will utilize your knowledge and skills in AI models to address complex challenges in marketing and competitive intelligence, including customer, market, and competitor analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This internship provides a comprehensive and engaging experience within a global company committed to culture and belonging, offering exposure to different divisions and meaningful project work during a 3-month summer program starting in 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Applying the latest AI models for strategic marketing projects and processes
Improving MKS market intelligence using AI
Creating AI dashboards to track and analyze market dynamics

Requirements

Passion and skills in the latest AI models
Interest and ability in training, fine-tuning, and inference for strategic marketing tasks
In-depth understanding of LLM models, training, RAG, and other AI concepts
Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and applying AI models
Familiarity with popular AI models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, grok, etc.
Familiarity with MS Azure AI offerings and Power BI platform is a plus

Nice to Have

Experience with MS Azure AI offering
Experience with Power BI platform

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (implied by internship context)
