API Automation Tester

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Setup automation framework
• Work on in-sprint and regression automation
• Coordinate onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications
• Work with Agile based projects
• Play a lead role in automation efforts
• Work with CI/CD tools
• Use JIRA and other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM
• Have experience working in Banking domain projects
• Ensure automation for UI and API testing using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Karate
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance
• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Karate
• Experience working in Banking domain projects
• Working experience with CI/CD tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coordinate and lead onsite and offshore teams

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Agile projects
• Experience with test management tools like Quality Center / ALM
