About the Role

The Associate Brand Manager plays a key role in enabling brands and licensors to thrive in our streaming and other omni-channel experiences. You will be an important partner between our licensors and our teams to drive and enable marketing collaborations and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Know your assigned brands thoroughly to ensure strong marketing collaborations that resonate with the brand.
  • Be the key point of contact for the brand's licensor for requests. Provide periodic updates for new and existing brands to each partner. Proactively update changes to exploitation strategy and rationale behind the change.
  • Oversee the exploitation and use of the brand's likeness by coordinating internal approvals and external approvals with Licensors.
  • Coordinate marketing promotions for respective Licensors and their associated talent at events/conventions.
  • Pull and compile viewership data and other reporting metrics for content partners on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Work with other departments to obtain promotional data for monthly reports.
  • Support the Brand Management team with various administrative and operational tasks and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience and 1+ years of partnership management and cross-functional department experience.
  • Have strong time management skills with the ability to manage your deliverables without intervention.
  • Understand working with partners from different cultural backgrounds, particularly Japanese business culture.
  • Like to learn new things and are open to taking on new challenges and solving tasks outside of your comfort zone.
  • Are proficient in either Mac or PC and have experience using content delivery software (Aspera, SFTP) and CMS backend systems a plus.
  • A plus if you are fluent in Japanese and can communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking partners.
