The role involves tackling business and marketing problems alongside a team of brand analytics and marketing effectiveness consultants with extensive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Combine analytical, business management, creative thinking, interpersonal, and leadership skills, developing each over time.
  • Address business and marketing questions such as investment levels, profitability of brands/products/seasons, marketing levers, and factors influencing sales.
  • Become adept in mathematical modeling, creating econometric models to estimate marketing-driven sales and ROI, implementing machine learning to forecast consumer response and future ROIs, diagnosing model results for business implications.
  • Identify brand, category, and competitive information that explains sales, evaluate media budget, media mix, and media buys, and assess target customers to shape future strategies.
  • Interview clients' teams and marketing partners, train in effective presentation skills, and track data and information for modeling projects.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with two or less years of experience in data science, consulting, or marketing analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with curiosity and a willingness to think the impossible.
  • Deadline-driven, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with an interest in presentations.

Nice to Have

  • Coursework in econometrics, machine learning, multivariate analysis, and/or time series analysis.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with open-source modeling languages, such as R or Python.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with data and spreadsheet tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Any prior interest or knowledge in marketing science topics and advertising/media data.
  • A master's degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
