Job Description

About the Role

The Associate Digital Account Manager (PC/Nintendo), as part of the CUSA Digital Platforms Team at Capcom, oversees all businesses pertaining to the digital distribution of Capcom IP. Reporting to the Senior Digital Account Manager of Digital Platforms, this role involves working with regional teams across Japan, Europe, and Asia to promote digital distribution on platforms like Steam and PCD, managing relationships with digital partners including Valve and Nintendo of America, and exploring new distribution opportunities such as cloud streaming, subscription, and F2P models. The position requires collaboration with sales, marketing, product development, and legal teams to maximize revenue and product placement in digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales units and revenue by planning and executing price promotions and bundles tied to seasonality, new releases, and strategic windows.
  • Formulate and execute promotional activities with partners for all PC products catalog and new releases.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to ensure partners have access to promotional materials such as game descriptions, screenshots, trailers, etc.
  • Coordinate with product development and the Submissions Team on product release activities with digital distribution partners.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Submissions Teams to set up preferred digital pricing for new release and preorder content.
  • Manage PC Keys, including processing and fulfillment of orders to internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with existing digital distribution partners, including first-party relationships.
  • Forge new digital distribution relationships and explore business opportunities on emerging platforms.
  • Conceive of new digital business opportunities leveraging digital channels, including cloud streaming, subscription, and bundle services.
  • Work with marketing and brand teams on pre-order incentive programs.
  • Partner with Business Strategy Analysts to analyze campaign performance and implement insights.
  • Partner with the Digital Sales Team to present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Collaborate with Licensing and other divisions on promotions, product collaborations, and licensing opportunities.
  • Coordinate intra-company communication, contracts, and approvals related to pricing, promotions, and product releases.
  • Coordinate approvals and contracts with legal, IP, management, product development, and marketing for digital partners.
  • Work with Growth & Performance Marketing teams on paid and editorial placements to promote digital sales initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a business or technology related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the gaming, eCommerce, or Media & Entertainment industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years in digital account management.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and a critical thinker capable of making impactful decisions based on industry trends.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional project management, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to run and track multiple sales campaigns and promotions simultaneously.
  • Strong digital account management skills.
  • Advanced web skills such as website curating, SEO, URL optimization.
  • Experience with promotion sales pages (1st parties, partners, etc.).
  • Strong numerical skills and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with online databases.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Japanese language fluency (spoken and written) preferred but not required.
  • Experience with project management platforms like Wrike preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Capcom's portfolio of IPs.
