About the Role

The Associate Digital Sales LCM Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. will proactively support in driving digital revenue through effective discount planning and life-cycle management (LCM) across the company's digital platform portfolio. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, overseas offices, and external partners such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, Valve, and digital distributors to develop SKU plans and execute discount strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal policies. The position is based in Irvine, California, with a hybrid work schedule, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading global publisher known for iconic franchises and anime-based games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of digital sales and LCM on all titles for assigned digital platforms to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate and communicate consistently with overseas Bandai Namco Group companies to ensure global consensus on discount planning and LCM strategies.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with 1P and 3P partners to ensure alignment of goals and timelines.
  • Manage relevant LCM-related matters, including submitting promo lineups into 1P portals and internal approval workflows, and monitor post-launch opportunities and placements.
  • Maintain understanding of all discounts and performance linked to digital storefront placements across major platforms.
  • Gather sales data, collaborate with analytics teams to understand digital trends, report outcomes of digital promotions, and provide insights.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to determine pricing for digital storefronts and recommend when to advance to the next discount level.
  • Execute LCM for 3P digital business with digital game distributors such as Humble Bundle or Nuuvem.
  • Document business schemes of other publishers related to Bandai Namco published games.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field of study.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales-planning or support role, preferably within the Video Game Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency including data entry, Microsoft 365 apps (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Passion and knowledge of video games.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables to isolate relevant data.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, leveraging effective charts to communicate complex information to staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Sales, or related fields.
  • Experience in sales planning/support roles within the video game industry.
