About the Role

The Associate Director, Regional Marketing, is a field-based position focused on engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in dermatology and rheumatology within the Pacific Northwest territory. The role involves providing insights into regional opportunities, supporting disease state education, speaker development, and executing promotional and patient programs. It serves as a bridge between regional markets and headquarters, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure compliant execution of programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with KOLs in targeted accounts to support disease state or product discussions and gather insights.
  • Champion the brand, disease state, and commercial strategy through meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Support and execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.
  • Lead or support the execution of advisory boards and assist in identifying healthcare professional consultants.
  • Develop and train physician speakers for high-quality speaker programs on disease state and product information.
  • Ensure compliant and effective execution of speaker programs, monitor speaker performance, and provide follow-up training as needed.
  • Engage with assigned KOLs for feedback and relationship building.
  • Support account planning for sales teams and provide field-based training to sales personnel when necessary.
  • Work in accordance with the company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, maintaining professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or medical affairs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dermatology or Rheumatology.
  • Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureaus is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans under short timelines.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and corporate goals.
  • Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex/competitive disease states.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly by air or car, work evenings and weekends as needed.
