The role of Associate Director, HCP Marketing Lead, Otezla Rheumatology involves leading strategic marketing initiatives for Otezla in the Rheumatology space, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing promotional and engagement activities to support brand growth and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive the strategy set by Brand Leadership and execute the marketing plan with respect to HCP engagement.
  • Develop branded promotional communications and manage the evolution of marketing tactics across channels such as Personal Promo and Peer to Peer.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to ensure strong execution of sales strategies and messaging, including key customer engagement and assessing customer strategy in the Rheum space.
  • Lead the annual tactical planning process for HCP engagement and design tailored engagement plans to reinforce brand strategy.
  • Oversee the development of promotional tactics by collaborating with market research, external engagement, and agency partners.
  • Manage the speaker bureau and evolve speaker program content to align with strategic goals.
  • Interface regularly with the sales team to optimize performance, address challenges, and provide training on marketing resources and strategy.
  • Manage and coach direct reports to support their professional development and ensure team performance.
  • Identify new patient growth opportunities through insights from HCP interactions, field visits, and customer research.
  • Build long-term professional relationships with priority HCPs through live and virtual interactions.
  • Complete multiple projects simultaneously, managing resources to ensure timely, on-budget deliverables.
  • Track and optimize marketing program effectiveness through feedback and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 3 years of marketing experience OR Master's degree and 7 years of marketing experience OR Bachelor's degree and 9 years of marketing experience OR Associate's degree and 12 years of marketing experience OR High school diploma / GED and 14 years of marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, or programs.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and set strategic direction.
  • Strong communication skills to engage, connect, and influence across organizational levels.
  • Experience in developing pharmaceutical campaign strategies and tactics for specialty products.
  • Prior HCP promotional experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working with agencies and managing multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to interpret data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • High ethical and compliance standards.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree in marketing, healthcare management, or related field.
  • 4+ years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing for specialty products.
  • Experience with evolving strategy and promotional tactics based on market or product lifecycle events.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive influence and align work efforts across stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in market research, segmentation, brand positioning, and tactical development.
  • Ability to build meaningful experiences for HCPs by understanding their needs.
  • Experience working with agencies.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, Associate's degree, or High school diploma / GED with corresponding years of marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
