Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the HIV Franchise Marketing strategic plan focusing on regional engagement initiatives, insight gathering and events management.
  • Work to align HIV Franchise strategic priorities with key stakeholders, ensuring coordination across HIV Treatment and Prevention Marketing teams and throughout the enterprise.
  • Drive the development and implementation of regional priority opportunities and activations, focusing on community liaison team engagement.
  • Foster Gilead's HIV leadership narrative while amplifying key community partnership activities.
  • Develop and execute insight plans for key stakeholders, including regional advisory boards when appropriate.
  • Orchestrate Gilead's presence at key HIV events and sponsorships, ensuring engagement and alignment with commercial priorities.
  • Manage and direct agency partners to deliver on the annual tactical plan within the assigned budget.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements

  • High School Degree and Fourteen Years' Experience OR Associate's degree and Twelve Years Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Ten Years' Experience OR Masters' Degree and Eight Years' Experience OR PhD and Two Years' Experience.
  • Strong customer and HIV community focus.
  • Adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Ability to listen carefully, adapt style and content based on audience, and understand others' motivations and needs.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • 10 years of marketing experience, 8+ years MS/MA or MBA or other advanced business or public health degree is desired.
  • Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practices.
  • Previous experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree, Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree as specified in the requirements.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, or public health preferred.

  • Salary range of $177,905.00 - $230,230.00, with potential for discretionary annual bonus and stock-based long-term incentives.
