Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient engagement expertise across all launches within the Rare Disease Nation, ensuring alignment with common goals and mission.
  • Create tailored and actionable omnichannel customer engagement strategies.
  • Develop a robust and holistic view of the customer journey, including stakeholder mapping and influence network analysis.
  • Make senior level interactions and key brand decisions frequently, with decision-making responsibility related to the area of focus/expertise.
  • Understand patient unmet needs regarding engagement and collaborate cross-functionally to align objectives with brand strategy.
  • Continuously optimize engagement strategies and identify new ways to improve customer education about disease and product.
  • Determine critical moments and barriers in the patient journey and develop content to overcome those barriers.
  • Design a hyper-personalized, modular content plan, including channel mix, tailored for target audiences.
  • Establish clear objectives and metrics to measure customer value, and partner with analytics teams to track KPIs, performance analytics, and ROI by channel.
  • Contribute to the development of supporting materials for patient support services programs.
  • Coordinate strategy and content across all Patient Engagement Marketers for patient-facing websites.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of marketing, sales, or insights & analytics experience, preferably in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Successful track record of strategic decision making, innovation, problem-solving, and navigating uncharted territory.
  • Experience working in large scale and complex multidisciplinary teams, with proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient experience.
  • Digital-forward mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or life sciences.
  • Ability to travel 25% within the US.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in patient engagement or healthcare marketing.
  • Experience working in the rare disease or pharma industry.
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics.
