The Associate Manager, Digital Activation owns strategic planning and campaign execution for an assigned client, requiring both strategic and tactical skills, including independent insight generation, campaign management across digital platforms, and team training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute, manage, and optimize online media campaigns and programs for agency clients, including auction/exchange based performance media, audience-based buying, and remarketing campaigns, both independently and in support of Manager.
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices throughout the full campaign life-cycle.
  • Maintain and organize campaign-specific materials in the team's shared drive.
  • Oversee daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns handled by Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Run the campaign QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance with the assistance of Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Set up campaigns accurately in different systems, ensuring ad tags and creative are loaded correctly.
  • Communicate with creative teams regarding risks of not launching on time across platforms.
  • Master media buying-related technologies, including DSPs and social/search platforms.
  • Understand client performance objectives and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Manage client campaigns hands-on in the field.
  • Apply best practices on client campaigns and execute advanced QA standards.
  • Perform basic and advanced reporting analysis using third-party planning, activation, and measurement tools.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Linear Upfront and Scatter Investment.
  • Experience working with Paid Social, Linear TV, Retail Media, OTT.
  • Strong knowledge of media fundamentals and how different media elements perform individually and together.
  • Skilled in negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills, including proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, V lookups.
  • Experience with DDS, Prisma, Meta Campaign Manager, TikTok Campaign Manager, Snap Ads Campaign Manager, DV360, Trade Desk/Walmart, Amazon DSP.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage detailed work.
  • Strong project management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with campaign setup and management across multiple digital platforms.
  • Experience in client communication and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of campaign optimization and performance analysis.
