About the Role

As the Director, Paid Marketing at Spanx, you will lead and execute marketing strategies focused on driving customer acquisition and growth. You will develop data-driven campaigns, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Digital, and Creative, and analyze market trends to increase revenue by reaching high-value prospects. This role is based in NYC, requires weekly in-office work Tuesday-Thursday, and reports to the Vice President, Growth & Performance Marketing. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven acquisition strategies utilizing an analytical mindset and leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Map strategies back to business goals to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain a structured learning agenda to support continuous improvement and growth.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to drive collaborative solutions and successful execution.
  • Proactively provide insights and perspectives to address challenges and improve outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor and assess progress against set goals to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of measurement methodologies and effectively manage an analyst to ensure accurate and actionable results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant performance marketing experience, with influencer/affiliate experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of automation and machine learning and how they increase efficiency, personalization, and ROI across paid marketing.
  • Knowledge of multiple measurement approaches, including multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
  • Experience collaborating with analytics and data science teams to design, implement, and validate measurement frameworks.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads, with a proven track record of driving efficient customer acquisition.
  • Understanding of creative as a performance lever, especially creative diversification.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a high-performing team of channel specialists, analysts, and external partners.
  • Strong skills in decision-making, analysis, collaboration, and enterprise performance.

  • Influencer/affiliate marketing experience.
