Job Description

About the Role

The Associate Manager, Programmatic is responsible for effectively supervising a team and set of clients with a focus on accuracy, growth, and innovation. This individual acts as a subject matter expert on Programmatic strategy and execution, participating in pre-sales activity and enterprise-level client meetings. They oversee employee development and retention, including training and goal setting, and are experts at process and project management, creating scalable processes across multiple accounts or teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as direct supervisor for up to four direct reports in Chicago, Buenos Aires, and/or Mexico City.
  • Accountable for all aspects of team oversight, including employee onboarding, training, performance, and retention.
  • Maintain target utilization for assigned work and for direct reports.
  • Onboard, maintain, and grow assigned client base by coordinating with Account Management & Media Strategy on long-term strategic roadmaps.
  • Own performance accuracy for campaign execution, optimization, and Rise 5 on all assigned clients.
  • Quickly and tactfully troubleshoot employee and client issues.
  • Act as a liaison between internal rise teams and the programmatic team for all client-related matters.
  • Develop processes to improve team and client efficiency and scale these processes across the programmatic team.
  • Lead weekly team and individual meetings with programmatic team members, other Rise employees, and outside vendors.
  • Collaborate with Programmatic managers on team-wide initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technology partners, seeking opportunities to vet and test new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting media strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience creating clear and concise media proposals, including media plans, strategies, and presentations.
  • Ability to execute digital media campaigns flawlessly while providing insights and analysis.
  • Developed multiple processes impacting profitability and efficiency of an account or team.
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of technical nuances associated with media buying platforms to improve client results.
  • Leadership skills to independently manage potential issues and know when to escalate.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ year of people supervision experience.
  • 1+ year of programmatic execution experience.
  • Platform expertise in Google Display & Video 360, Google Campaign Manager, The Trade Desk.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets with advanced formula skills.
  • Strong relationships with publisher and technology partners in the programmatic space.

Benefits & Perks

  • Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $66,910 - $100,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
