The Associate, Marketing role supports the firm's go-to-market programs through a variety of marketing and event management activities, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Events Team to support events, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities from contract execution and project planning to post-event follow-up.
  • Build and maintain event invitation lists through Salesforce, organizing contacts, scrubbing lists, and deduping data.
  • Research speaking opportunities and sponsorships, vetting them against criteria to determine expected lead generation, brand awareness, and investment value.
  • Coordinate internally with marketing teams, consulting professionals, and external vendors.
  • Manage pre- and post-event communications and debriefs with attending professionals for feedback, leads, and opportunities.
  • Help maintain and manage the company sporting and event ticket tracking system.
  • Maintain and disseminate a calendar of global events, tracking due dates and deliverables.
  • Own the production and execution of the internal QuickPitch learning series, including building communications campaigns and managing webinars.
  • Organize Corporate Headshot Days, building event campaigns, collating invitation lists, and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Assist with project management of branded merchandise and stationery programs, including inventory monitoring and responding to stakeholder inquiries.
  • Conduct independent research on industry trends and competitors to inform global events strategy.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Cvent event management system to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Own the circulation of call agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Support marketing operations programs to standardize deliverables and centralize initiatives globally.
  • Coordinate updates to key marketing materials and ensure collateral remains current and client-ready.
  • Track license/seat usage for marketing platforms and act as a point of contact for questions and training.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of the firm's intranet and communication pages.
  • Assist with developing project management templates for events and campaigns.
  • Perform additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of internship or full-time experience in marketing or event management, preferably within professional services.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
  • Ability to travel to FTI offices at least once per week.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice to Have

  • Creative, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience using email management/distribution platforms such as Knak or Eloqua.
  • Experience with event management systems like Cvent or Splash.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in marketing or related fields as specified.
  • Experience in marketing or event management roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with various teams.
