Associate, Paid Media

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Executes day-to-day digital and traditional media planning and buying activities associated with assigned accounts, with an emphasis on digital media management.
• Reviews client media briefs and initiates the planning process.
• Creates Request for Proposal (RFP) and develops consideration lists of appropriate vendors based on brief requirements.
• Reviews vendor RFPs and filters/compiles the most compelling proposals.
• Supports the development of holistic media plan recommendations to meet client media objectives.
• Assists in developing internal or external presentation materials and adapts/finalizes based on feedback.
• Supports financial management by managing campaign pacing and assisting with monthly billing processes.
• Works with creative teams to outline ad specifications and trafficking instructions to ensure creative delivery aligns with media activation.
• Collaborates with Analytics and Ad Ops teams for digital tagging and reporting requirements.
• Assists with campaign reporting activities based on client cadence.
• Compiles and analyzes relevant metrics to optimize media plans and schedules, and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Manages campaign execution from start to finish in partnership with the account lead.
• Supports the needs of the direct manager and media team members.
• Assists account lead in maintaining and growing relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Participates in internal and external client meetings and presentations as needed.
• Works closely with vendors to develop productive working relationships that drive results for clients.
• Stays ahead of the latest media innovations and trends, sharing insights in a collaborative manner.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, team leads, finance, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management ability.
• Media planning and buying experience in one or more of the following mediums: Social Media, programmatic, Digital Video, TV, Radio digital audio, print, OOH, local media.
• Willingness to explore and execute all forms of media.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience or relevant internship experience.
