About the Role

The Automated Test Engineer will analyze a suite of automated functional and integration tests to increase software quality. They will leverage automation tools to develop regression tests on an incremental basis and operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The role involves employing automation techniques, including screen recording, data-driven, and object-based scripting to expand automation capabilities on large-scale modernization initiatives. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze a suite of automated functional and integration tests to increase software quality.
Leverage automation tools to develop regression tests on an incremental basis.
Operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Employ automation techniques, including screen recording, data-driven, and object-based scripting.
Expand automation capabilities on large-scale modernization initiatives.

Requirements

7+ years of experience with overall testing.
3+ years of experience writing test plans and test cases and executing automated test scripts.
Experience developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated tests and test environments.
Experience configuring test scripts to support cross-browser testing.
Experience conducting API testing.
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence.
Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium, UFT, Postman, and industry best practices.
IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Nice to Have

Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process.
Experience implementing a test automation suite to validate COTS and 3rd party products.
Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools, including JMeter or LoadRunner.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
Agile or SAFe Certification.
