About the Role

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for an Automation Test Lead to join their team of IT professionals in a permanent role. The role involves leading automation testing efforts, coordinating teams, and working with clients in the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

Participating in agile ceremonies.
Coordinate with offshore/onsite teams.
Coordinate with clients and business to collect the requirements.
Coordinate with product manager or owner to clarify the requirements.
Setup automation framework.
Write test plans and cases for in scope requirements/user stories.
Prepare test data.
Script automation code for candidate test cases.
Execute the automation scripts.
Play a lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance.
6+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation (using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Karate, etc.).
Experience in setting up automation frameworks.
Very strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Working experience with CI/CD tools.
Expertise in using JIRA and test management tools like Quality Center / ALM.
Experience working in banking domain projects.
Experience working with Agile-based projects.

Nice to Have

Experience leading automation teams.
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of additional test automation tools or frameworks.

Qualifications
