About the Role

The Brand and Advertising Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of advertising campaigns and brand projects that build awareness, increase brand reputation, and drive business growth across the enterprise. This role involves ensuring brand consistency across all communications, collaborating with various marketing teams and external agencies, and playing a key role in campaign measurement and brand governance. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with options for remote work in several markets, and requires regular work inside and outside of a company office, particularly in Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project manager and advertising agency point of contact for advertising campaigns, including trafficking of creative.
  • Keep key constituents informed on schedules, approvals, and feedback deadlines, setting up relevant meetings and disseminating meeting notes.
  • Assist with IP management including validation of expiring trademarks and domains, documentation, and tracking of cost savings over time.
  • Coordinate with internal marketing partners such as strategic leads, digital, communications, operations, events, and creative content teams.
  • Amplify communications plan around campaigns to ensure company-wide awareness, activating updates on internal channels.
  • Manage expectations of all audiences throughout company-sponsored communications.
  • Work with media and analytics teams to optimize advertising campaigns, monitor media measurement and creative performance, and recommend creative refreshes based on in-market performance.
  • Partner with internal analytics team to deliver on campaign metrics.
  • Ensure all campaign materials are approved and filed within the asset management system for audit purposes.
  • Support finance lead by ensuring agency billing and internal PO management are on-time, on-target, and accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively responsible experience within a marketing-driven organization.
  • Knowledge of advertising/paid mediums, development, and delivery of multichannel campaigns.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Successfully demonstrated project management experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions.

Nice to Have

  • Prior advertising agency experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications (preferred).
  • Or equivalent experience.
