Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead global product marketing for assigned category, including developing category and product strategies that drive business forward and reinforce brand equity.
  • Partner with Product Development, Global Consumer Marketing, Global Beauty, and Consumer Insights to inform innovation strategy and product launch cadence.
  • Monitor franchise performance in the global marketplace and recommend ongoing optimizations.
  • Support VP in creating long-term innovation plans and strategies to meet sales and cost targets.
  • Manage end-to-end product strategy for all new launches, including insights, pricing, positioning, formula, packaging, and artwork, ensuring comprehensive and on-time 360 launches.
  • Lead development of new product launch concepts, program briefs, and relevant meetings to drive launches forward.
  • Provide industry, competitive, and internal analysis to inform projects and drive progress.
  • Drive messaging hierarchy, copy briefs, and alignment processes.
  • Own forecast process, including sizing opportunities and partnering with Global Business Planning.
  • Ensure project feasibility and profitability, working with regions to align on product calendar and forecast.
  • Participate in new product testing and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to meet timelines and complete projects.
  • Prepare marketing plans for presentation to affiliates and retailers.
  • Assess project performance based on market feedback and business results.
  • Identify opportunities to refresh products and maintain competitive edge.
  • Own SKU rationalization and line edit processes, including discontinuations, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Lead biannual innovation summaries and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to team members, fostering a successful product marketing team.
  • Drive change and implement new product launch processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in beauty marketing.
  • Product obsessed with a strong focus on innovation.
  • Expertise in analytics and ability to synthesize data to drive business decisions.
