About the Role

HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a Brand Manager and Writer to support AFRL/IZO in developing marketing strategies and branding materials. The role involves creating multimedia content, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring consistent branding across communication channels. The division specializes in cyber and mission IT, electronic warfare, C5ISR systems, and supports national defense and intelligence missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement brand strategies that align with Department of the Air Force (DAF), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), and Digital Capabilities Directorate (DCD) goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support branding and marketing activities, including identification of best practices and tools.
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with other DCD teams to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and integrated campaigns.
  • Manage the organization's visual identity, including logo, color palette, and typography.
  • Develop and maintain a library of visual assets.
  • Translate client needs and branding strategies into design strategies.
  • Create visually appealing graphics for websites, marketing materials, and presentations.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, digital advertisements, and posters.
  • Create and edit videos for marketing and communication purposes.
  • Develop and maintain website design and content.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on brand effectiveness, providing key metrics and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in implementing government-approved feedback and changes, ensuring quality assurance for designs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years with a Master's degree; or 9 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, InCopy, Animate, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Lightroom, Acrobat Pro, and Dreamweaver.
  • Ability to demonstrate comparable proficiency in industry-standard software providing equivalent functionality.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multimedia development tools and virtual environment integration.
  • Experience in strategic branding and marketing within government or defense sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or higher degrees with relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications or equivalent software.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

  • Salary range of $67,831 - $96,000 annually.
