Brand Manager, Beverage Innovation

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop business objectives and marketing plans for innovation platforms, reflecting overall corporate goals; seamlessly execute marketing plans to deliver against brand, financial and share objectives; monitor performance measurements to ensure brand is tracking against goals - recommend and implement corrective actions
• Analyze data to identify insights and translate into business initiatives and/or actionable tasks to drive results
• Lead/participate in development and execution of marketing strategies including brand positioning, communication strategies, advertising and consumer promotion initiatives
• Work closely with a cross functional team to ensure effective and efficient translation of marketing strategies into activation plans; lead in development and execution of product commercialization, consumer research validation, and packaging creative
• Lead feasibility validation, product, project execution, customer sell-in and tracking of in-market performance; collaborate with customer business teams to develop and execute innovation plans
• Work hand-in-hand with sales to understand and integrate customer strategies in business and brand plans
• Manage monthly volume forecast, coordinating between demand and supply planning to deliver best-in-class forecast accuracy; manage brand budget including A&P spending for assigned product responsibility

Requirements

• An MBA or equivalent education/experience is required
• 5+ years of experience in marketing/innovation, preferably in consumer packaged goods (food/beverage)
• Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Experience with Nielsen and/or IRI is preferred
• Creative leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
• Highly motivated, dedicated, and able to contribute beyond functional roles
• Ability to multitask, work agile, and identify new ways to approach tasks
• Timely and accurate communication of innovation development and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or University Degree (required)
• Master's Degree (preferred)
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
