About the Role

The Brand Marketing Director at LoopNet, part of CoStar Group, is responsible for overseeing brand marketing and audience engagement efforts to increase brand awareness, positive sentiment, and market positioning. This role involves developing and executing brand strategies that align with company goals, managing brand messaging and visual direction, and leading a team of marketing professionals. The position requires collaboration across departments to create cohesive brand experiences and drive growth in the commercial real estate marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the brand strategy considering target audiences on both the supply (listers) and demand (searchers) sides.
  • Lead the development of brand messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Create and oversee brand and engagement campaigns including brand messaging, advertising, in-product branding, collateral, social platforms, thought leadership, in-market events, field marketing, gifting, and corporate hospitality.
  • Coach and guide direct reports to ensure high-quality output and performance aligned with objectives.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand initiatives through focus groups, market surveys, client interviews, and analytics, then refine strategies accordingly.
  • Consult and approve brand considerations across all marketing and customer-facing content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university.
  • Experience in a similar marketing role with a focus on brand and audience engagement.
  • Proven track record of measurable improvements in brand awareness, sentiment, and recall.
  • Expertise in B2B channel activation including digital advertising, events, and thought leadership content.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within online marketplaces, advertising services, or technology companies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Well-organized, goal-oriented, and a team player with a collaborative mindset.
