About the Role

The Brand Marketing Manager at Skip Hop, part of Carter's Inc., serves as the marketing leader for Skip Hop baby gear and toys. The role involves developing brand marketing strategies, go-to-market planning, media, and social media management across Direct to Consumer and Wholesale channels. The position requires extensive collaboration with various departments to develop strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with the target audience. The role is based in Atlanta, GA, with a four-day on-site work environment in Buckhead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual marketing strategy and marketing calendar to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales.
  • Lead new product launches, including developing marketing updates for internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on creative direction and content strategy to ensure brand consistency.
  • Accountable for marketing commercialization process including developing go-to-market launch plans for current and new products.
  • Lead day-to-day campaign management and coordinate between creative and channel partners to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Lead brand influencer program to drive brand awareness and relevance across owned and paid social media channels.
  • Oversee social agency of record to develop social strategy, content calendar, and community engagement.
  • Partner with Global Marketing peers and external agencies to build paid and earned media strategies and monitor performance.
  • Develop annual marketing strategy and lead media planning for wholesale retail partners like Amazon, Target, and Babylist.
  • Create sales/marketing content for sell-in meetings to promote new product launches.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly marketing performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead media and performance optimizations based on data analysis.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budget, including forecasting and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing or brand management.
  • Highly collaborative team player with ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong project management skills supporting creative and campaign development.
  • Strong understanding of digital/social media KPIs and brand health metrics.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize business and marketing results into insights.
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines with various stakeholders.
  • Keen awareness of cultural trends and ability to activate insights within campaigns.
  • Experience working with Retailer Media Networks such as Roundel, WMC, Amazon.
  • Experience managing outside agency partners and resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field from a 4-year accredited college or university.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with consumer brands in retail and ecommerce.
  • Durables experience.
