About the Role

As one of Figma's first Brand Marketing Strategists, you'll collaborate with a growing team of cross-functional marketers to re-imagine and elevate Figma's social presence across digital and real-world channels globally. This senior-level individual contributor role focuses on combining social data insights with platform and campaign strategies to create best-in-class marketing experiences and campaigns. The position offers a unique opportunity to lead, take thoughtful risks, and build something special during a pivotal transition from a single-product, single-region company to a multi-product, global organization. It is a full-time role based in one of Figma's US hubs or remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with a growing team of brand marketers, with an emphasis on developing and implementing best-in-class strategies, creative activations, and content
  • Develop a platform-level vision, strategy, and roadmap for @Figma, including a clear framework for prioritization, content, metrics, and innovation
  • Define and evangelize an approach for social ideation applicable across multiple product lines, audience types, and brand moments (evergreen and tentpole)
  • Lead the end-to-end strategy (ideation to execution) for high-profile tentpole social activations and brand campaigns to introduce Figma to new audiences
  • Model an insights-driven approach by proactively identifying and validating qualitative and quantitative observations from all platforms to inform tactics and activations
  • Embed deeply with cross-functional teams, providing social insights and subject matter expertise to elevate marketing execution and inspire new ideas
  • Present ideas and recommendations through compelling presentations to influence and accelerate strategic growth
  • Collaborate to develop, map, and implement copy and content across all of Figma's social channels

Requirements

  • 10+ years working in digital/social marketing with experience driving campaigns for multiple audience types and personas
  • Deep experience defining, evangelizing, and executing social strategies at a platform level, including always-on tactics and tentpole activations
  • Proficiency in turning social data into actionable insights at both content and campaign levels, with a track record of identifying untapped opportunities
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and develop high-profile social activations, leading cross-functional brainstorms and work sessions
  • Adept at crafting and refining social copy and creative, pairing platform methodologies with situational expertise for specific brand moments
