Business Development Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and customize proposal content to provide concise and appropriate responses to questions and to ensure compliance with RFP guidelines.
• Analyze company and industry research, condense and summarize relevant information tailored to attorney requests, and identify market trends and areas of opportunity.
• Draft and edit experience records, practice and industry descriptions, and attorney profiles to maximize content value and promote consistency.
• Support Business Development Managers and Specialists with the implementation of individual and group business development plans.
• Assist in the execution of pitches and proposals.
• Research and develop competitive intelligence reports.
• Manage and analyze business development/marketing budgets.
• Implement sponsorship and conference strategies, including post-event reporting, analysis, and follow-up activities to maximize ROI.
• Provide support to Practice Groups, Industry, and Teams.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to maximize impact on investments.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of business development-specific experience or three years of marketing experience in a law firm, professional services, or financial services firm preferred.
• A bachelor's degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Specialization in marketing, legal, finance, or business administration is preferred.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exercising patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, presentation, and networking skills.
• Client-service orientation and ability to work with varied audiences.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with research and client/contact databases.
• Travel is required.
