About the Role

The Business Development Manager - Liquid Cooling is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to grow the company's liquid cooling solutions business across North America and APAC regions. The role involves engaging key stakeholders, managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with engineering and product teams, representing the company at industry events, and providing market intelligence to support product development and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow liquid cooling solutions business across North America and APAC regions.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at enterprise organizations, hyperscalers, cloud providers, OEMs, and colocation data centers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client presentations, proposals, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver customized liquid cooling solutions that address customer technical and operational needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical forums to strengthen brand presence and market positioning.
  • Provide market intelligence on liquid cooling adoption trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations to support product development and strategy.
  • Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and high customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders across technical, operations, and executive teams.
  • Understand customer roadmaps, sustainability goals, and cooling infrastructure challenges to recommend tailored solutions and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of liquid cooling systems.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance reports to track progress, identify risks, and uncover growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience in data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, thermal management, or related technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of cooling technologies (liquid immersion, direct-to-chip cooling, heat exchangers, etc.) and their role in high-performance computing and data centers.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer engagements and industry events.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), HPC customers, or large data center operators adopting advanced cooling technologies.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency regulations driving adoption of liquid cooling.
  • Established professional network in the Silicon Valley technology ecosystem or within the global data center infrastructure community.
