About the Role

The Business Development Manager in our Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area within the TACAir product line is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and maintaining a funnel of new business opportunities, leading growth initiatives, and supporting strategic development. This role involves engaging with U.S. DoD and international customers, influencing decision-makers across various levels, and contributing to the business strategy of the product line. The position offers a hybrid work format, combining onsite and remote work, and requires active security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, create, develop, and qualify new and existing business opportunities for the ECS Business Area.
  • Engage, shape, and influence U.S. DoD customers and international agencies at all levels, from EW operators to senior decision-makers.
  • Assess the competitive market landscape and develop strategies based on customer needs and market analysis.
  • Lead in-depth reviews of market competitors and develop Price to Win strategies.
  • Advocate the business case for new opportunities and support business strategy development.
  • Contribute to the business strategy of the TACAir product line and support the product line Leadership Team for all new business activities.
  • Work independently and with small teams in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of industry experience or Master's degree with 10+ years, or equivalent DoD experience.
  • Experience with the DoD requirements process.
  • Practical leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Active US Secret Clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Business degree in Marketing, Management, International Business, etc.
  • Former experience in an EW role as a customer and/or Business Development leader.
  • FMS/DCS experience or international experience.
  • Experience with international cultures and customer relations.
  • Active TS clearance with SSBI.

Qualifications

  • Educational background as specified in requirements (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
  • Active US Secret Clearance.
