Key Responsibilities

  • Account Growth & Retention: Prospect and generate new business through cold outreach, referrals, industry networking, and events
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Identify and upsell opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Manage and grow accounts through proactive outreach, service, and follow-up
  • Track sales metrics and KPIs in the CRM; maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide value-added solutions
  • Develop account plans and conduct regular performance check-ins with key clients
  • Sales Operations Support: Mine and analyze customer, market, and sales data to uncover trends and growth opportunities
  • Identify gaps in the market and assist in shaping targeting strategies
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting processes
  • Content & Campaign Execution: Assist in the creation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns (newsletters, product promos, announcements)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for social media platforms (Website and Instagram)
  • Help coordinate the development of sales collateral (flyers, presentations, case studies, product sheets)
  • Provide input on marketing materials based on customer feedback and sales trends
  • Customer Service: Provide the highest level of customer service through quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Gather and document customer feedback and/or issues, relaying insights, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Maintain the CRM system by updating customer information, tracking interactions on CRM and ensuring data accuracy for effective customer relationship management
  • Onboard new customers
  • Proactively reach out to all customers on a regular basis
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure orders are being shipped out in a timely manner and no issues are occurring
  • Partner with sales and operations leadership to continually develop improved processes

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in sales support, analytics, or customer service is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce, and Syspro (or a comparable ERP) functions and modules
  • Proficient in Excel specifically in V Lookup, Pivot Tables, Word, Power Point
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments
  • Able to work independently and in a remote team environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Syspro or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
