About the Role

The Business Insights Planner (BIP) is a critical role at DSplus, a Saatchi & Saatchi company focused on merging branding efforts with retail needs for automotive clients, particularly Toyota. The role involves connecting qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights that help identify and solve challenges for retail clients, supporting strategic decision-making and campaign effectiveness within a data-driven, collaborative environment that values authenticity, transparency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uncover insights from qualitative and quantitative research data
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create custom research and insights that drive business results
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on automotive retail and ecommerce environments
  • Ensure campaign objectives are aligned with performance media tactics and strategies
  • Work with team members for cross-tier strategy implementation and learnings
  • Gather and prepare all necessary materials for client meetings
  • Conduct client meetings both in person (Plano, TX) and remotely
  • Support the Account Director on larger client initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of the client's business and ongoing commitment to client needs
  • Ability to build solid relationships and work effectively across departments
  • Experience with various qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Proven success managing multiple teams and requests simultaneously
  • At least 4+ years of data analysis experience, with client-facing experience being important
  • Strong persuasive communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Big picture thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Nice to Have

  • Experience and background with Automotive Retail clients, particularly with Fixed Operations
  • Knowledge of integrated disciplines such as Direct Marketing, Interactive, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Lifestyle Marketing, Collateral, and Merchandising
  • Prior experience in digital advertising and programming
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Tableau, Asana, Salesforce, and Monday

Qualifications

  • Experience with various qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Proven success managing multiple teams and requests at the same time
  • 4+ years of data analysis experience
  • Exceptional persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Client-facing experience is important
