About the Role

This position serves as the lead for top partner and distributor marketing engagements, campaigns and programs as supported and aligned for prioritized IBM Data offerings. Partners are a critical element to growth for IBM's Hybrid and AI strategy, and this leader will become versed in IBM's Solutions and help our ecosystem partners differentiate IBM from competitors. The Program Leader will work with IBM Demand, Field Marketing and Channel Sales to align Partner go-to-market strategies and bring the voice of the partner back into IBM, responsible for meeting Ecosystem Business and Partner Marketing targets through campaigns and programs via Business Partners (BPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs and motivations of partners, distributors, clients, and markets, engaging with Partners and Channel Sellers to drive demand for IBM Solutions and gather feedback.
  • Know the IBM Solutions, including all relevant Sales Plays, Technology Plays, Decision Points, and GTM campaign strategies, to drive a go-to-market strategy with the Ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Channel Sales, IBM Demand, and Field marketing teams to influence marketing investments and land demand generation strategies, leveraging co-marketing funding and IBM marketing platforms.
  • Enable partners with marketing best practices to penetrate whitespace and midsize account segments for aligned products.
  • Create end-to-end campaigns to attract new business partners and accelerate revenue-generating partner activities, aligning with IBM strategy.
  • Develop quarterly plans to deliver year-over-year growth in volume and revenue through partner opportunity identification, co-marketing, and VAD programs.
  • Educate and advise partners on IBM co-marketing rules, best practices, and requirements.
  • Deliver on the ecosystem business and marketing pipeline and revenue objectives, including executive reviews.
  • Collaborate across ecosystem and other organizations, representing Partner Marketing at all levels of partner and IBM leadership.
  • Manage global growth initiatives, scaling successful strategies, and experimenting with new concepts where growth is slow.
  • Work with product marketing and content teams to develop positioning and tools to support partner marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience in Marketing and partner management from a marketing and/or sales perspective.
  • Multinational and multi-Geo experience.
  • Experience with Business Partners or working with third parties.
  • Proficiency with tools and data analytics programs such as CMC, Tableau dashboards, PPS data, GPM.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and demand generation programs.
  • Experience managing process controls.

Nice to Have

  • B2B partner marketing experience understanding partners' varying marketing skills and resources.
  • Experience in campaign design and delivery to recruit partners or clients.
  • Experience operating or leveraging agentic workflows.
  • Experience in Sales and Business Development.
