About the Role

The Channel Partner Instructional Designer will play a key role in supporting and enhancing AMD's partner ecosystem by designing and developing online training modules and supporting materials. This highly collaborative role involves working cross-functionally within the company to enable channel partners to successfully sell, implement, and support AMD products. The role requires a deep understanding of channel partners, adult learning principles, and experience in developing eLearning training, with a focus on creating engaging, effective, and efficient learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging eLearning modules, curriculum, job aids, videos, and other training materials.
  • Align content with business objectives and learning goals.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to gather source content for training materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to create content for channel partner enablement.
  • Manage project schedules, including content creation, approvals, and localization.
  • Build and maintain online learning modules using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia.
  • Act as a learning consultant to connect business needs with effective learning strategies.
  • Ensure training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with product and business goals.
  • Measure training effectiveness and improve learning experiences.
  • Establish standardized metrics and evaluation processes for training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools like Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Channel partner experience.
  • Familiarity with AI-based instructional design tools.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with audio and video editing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (preferred).
