About the Role

The CLDP MBA 2026 Intern position at Alcon offers MBA students the opportunity to participate in a full-time, 10 to 12-week internship that involves leading projects across Pharma, Vision Care, and Surgical functions. Interns will work in roles related to marketing, commercial operations, and surgical analysis, contributing to key business initiatives and gaining diverse professional experiences within a global leader in eye care. The program aims to develop future leaders through project work, mentorship, and networking, with potential progression into the full-time Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of Salesforce.com Einstein 1 and the current Alcon implementation roadmap.
  • Collaborate with US Commercial Business Partners to identify challenges and opportunities for enhancing sales execution and commercial operations, as well as exploring future innovation prospects.
  • Drive strategic impact across sales and operations by collaborating with senior leadership to identify and implement process improvements, enhance communication strategies, and support key account planning.
  • Build executive-level exposure and analytical skills by working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to high-visibility presentations and proposals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of untapped consumer segments within OTC dry eye drop category and develop go-to-market strategies to drive Systane brand conversion.
  • Support the U.S. Pharmaceutical Marketing Team in developing and executing strategic initiatives for glaucoma and dry eye portfolios, including market strategy, KPI analysis, and marketing program development.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to the internship, and at least one additional semester following the internship.
  • Pursuing an advanced degree, preferably MBA, in a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities or projects.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
  • Ability to commit to a 10-12 week full-time internship during summer 2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
