About the Role

The Client Strategy Consultant at McKee Wallwork is a senior role within the team responsible for helping clients navigate business challenges through strategic marketing and business solutions. The role involves understanding client growth obstacles, collaborating internally to develop innovative solutions, and guiding clients to take calculated risks. The position emphasizes building impactful relationships, creating and executing marketing strategies for medium-sized organizations, and facilitating strategic planning processes to ensure alignment with higher-order goals.

Key Responsibilities

Obsess over clients' growth and preserve momentum for both the client and the firm's work.
Help clients and the team define clear goals, strategic plans, and parameters to ensure tactics serve a higher-order strategy.
Lead the strategic planning process, including facilitating meetings, writing briefs, emceeing client meetings, and developing identity-led plans.
Serve as the primary strategic contact for ongoing clients, briefing specialists, and ensuring deliverables align with client strategy and identity.
Facilitate client workshops and deliver on-the-spot strategic thinking and consultation independently when needed.
Utilize qualitative and quantitative research tools, collaborating with research specialists and vendors to gather relevant data.
Maintain accurate records and files related to client work, research, and strategy development.
Develop deep relationships internally and externally, acting as a credible advisor.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Ability to lead, develop opinions, and apply strategic insights.
Willingness to work the hours necessary to complete the job, including travel and extra hours to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data and research findings.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism and relatability to develop client relationships.

Nice to Have

Experience creating and executing marketing strategies for medium-sized organizations.
