Commerce Funds Wholesaler

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic alliances with third-party broker/dealers, administrators, correspondent banks, and other potential delivery channels to increase exposure of Commerce Funds.
• Provide sales support for Commerce Investment Advisors, Commerce Trust Company, and Commerce Funds.
• Research new opportunities for distribution of the Commerce Funds.
• Provide wholesaling support to third-party distribution channels.
• Assist in new product development.
• Manage customer service requests from existing relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong negotiation skills.
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Inquisitive, agile, and a strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient with an optimistic outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of mutual funds wholesaling experience preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 required.
• Series 7 preferred.

Nice to Have

• Series 7 license (preferred).
