About the Role

The Franchise Development Consultant at Domino's is the primary regional development point of contact responsible for accelerating the growth of new Domino's stores. The role involves pipeline generation, supporting site identification and lease negotiations, collaborating with franchisees and internal stakeholders, representing Domino's at industry events, and assisting with new concept ideation, pilots, and market rollout. This position requires a strong relationship-building, analytical, and negotiation skill set to drive mutually beneficial growth for Domino's and its franchisees. The role is remote with 50% travel, offering up to $75,000 salary plus bonus, and is integral to expanding Domino's store footprint and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Portfolio Expansion Plan (PEP) for each franchise zone in the region.
  • Align with business consultants and directors to identify and understand each franchisee's operational, organizational, and financial capabilities for new store development.
  • Schedule and lead sales discussions with franchise zones for new store growth in alignment with regional leadership.
  • Conduct in-person development meetings with franchise zones to ensure commitment and accelerate new store commitments.
  • Develop and maintain strong market knowledge, including coverage gaps, target markets, trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
  • Formulate long-term portfolio development strategies for specific markets.
  • Manage opportunities in the designated region, including geographic, demographic, and financial analysis.
  • Identify real estate for new and existing opportunities using online tools, broker relationships, and in-market searches.
  • Manage all sales process milestones and update lead status in Connect.
  • Facilitate Term Sheet and Development Agreement creation and approval with regional partners and legal teams.
  • Support site approvals, lease review, and application submittals for relocations.
  • Support franchisees with LOI and lease negotiations, ensuring legal compliance from LOI to lease execution.
  • Assist regional teams in delivering annual new unit targets by tracking and forecasting the pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and real estate professionals.
  • Represent Domino's at real estate conferences and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Support special projects such as AAFES (Military solicitations) and Walmart projects.
  • Proactively execute strategic development initiatives like Carryout Only, Project Conquest, and Fortress Michigan.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Real Estate, Retail Development, Finance, or a similar field.
  • Client or Project Management or Consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Broad, strategic thinking with the ability to create innovative solutions and analyze complex problems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction, lease, and landlord-related contracts, including LOI and work-letter processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
