About the Role

The Community Relations Liaison works in coordination with the Vice President Advocacy and Community Partnerships to engage with community advisory councils, promote the organization's programs and services, and manage charitable giving programs to non-profits and civic organizations. The role involves building community relationships, managing sponsorships, and supporting community outreach initiatives to enhance Renown Health's community presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact and liaison for corporate sponsorship requests.
  • Coordinate the community sponsorship process, including committee meetings, asset fulfillment, and budget management.
  • Manage nominations for community recognitions such as Women of Achievement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications teams to promote partnerships with sponsored organizations.
  • Create, manage, and distribute content through various Renown communication channels.
  • Stay informed of healthcare and corporate giving trends and bring new ideas to leadership.
  • Manage multiple sponsorship requests and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
  • Organize and plan the annual Renown Big Thank You party for supported non-profits.
  • Research and coordinate nominations for local, state, and national recognition programs.
  • Manage software and grant management programs including Foundant and Conduent.
  • Manage Community Advisory Committee member recruitment, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Meet regularly with committee members to ensure they are informed and supportive of Renown's political agenda.
  • Encourage member attendance at community events and facilitate introductions to key influencers.
  • Report complaints and concerns to the VP and follow up as needed.
  • Develop audience-specific communications and talking points on programs and issues.
  • Respond quickly to community questions and keep the VP informed of community feedback.
  • Coordinate administrative and meeting tasks related to community committees.
  • Give tours to community members interested in learning about Renown Health.
  • Support service excellence initiatives as assigned by the VP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team unity.

Requirements

  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • College degree in Business or a health-related field.
  • Community and public relations experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to use the computer to complete online learning, access forms and policies, and complete benefits enrollment.
