About the Role

MPHASIZE is a global analytics company that identifies where to make marketing investments that enable profitable business growth. They have developed innovative approaches for maximizing marketing effectiveness and ROI by measuring offline and online channel synergies and identifying optimal marketing mixes. The company’s highly experienced marketing consultants help clients improve marketing returns and differentiate from competitors. The role involves working with brand analytics and marketing effectiveness to guide marketing investments, with a focus on delivering significant improvements in marketing performance for Fortune 1000 clients and startups alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become adept in mathematical modeling, creating econometric models to estimate marketing-driven sales and ROI, and implementing machine learning to forecast consumer response and future ROIs.
  • Diagnose mathematical integrity and derive actionable business implications from model results.
  • Identify brand, category, and competitive information that explains clients' sales.
  • Evaluate media budget, media mix, and media buys to address sales from media.
  • Assess target customers and audience to shape future brand and media strategies.
  • Interview clients' teams and marketing partners.
  • Train effective and succinct presentation abilities.
  • Track data and information timely and deliver modeling projects.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in data science, consulting, or marketing analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with curiosity and a willingness to think the impossible.
  • Deadline-driven, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with an interest in presentations.
  • Proficiency with data and spreadsheet tools like MS Excel/PPT, SQL, and/or Tableau.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with open-source modeling languages, such as R or Python.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with econometrics, ML, multivariate analysis, and/or time series analysis.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Any prior interest or knowledge in marketing science topics and advertising/media data.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
