About the Role

The Digital Marketing Analyst at Springboard Hospitality will own the narrative behind performance data—transforming complex metrics into compelling, actionable insights that inform decision-making across the marketing ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of digital measurement tools, especially Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio. The analyst will play a lead role in quarterly reporting, campaign innovation tracking, and driving cross-functional alignment with marketing, revenue, and eCommerce teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve the quarterly performance report for Springboard's hotel portfolio, incorporating GA4 data, channel-specific metrics, and strategic insights in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Maintain and evolve a cross-functional innovation tracker that captures the performance of key marketing initiatives across disciplines including paid media, email, SEO, and content.
  • Own and optimize event tracking across sites using Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate configuration of custom events, conversions, and eCommerce tracking.
  • Analyze marketing performance using various attribution models (e.g., data-driven, linear, last-click) and provide strategic recommendations based on user behavior and funnel efficiency.
  • Build and refine Looker Studio dashboards to surface real-time insights for stakeholders across marketing, revenue, and ownership groups.
  • Translate performance data into meaningful stories and present findings to internal stakeholders with clarity and strategic context.
  • Ensure consistency in data definitions, campaign tagging, and UTM usage, acting as a steward of marketing data integrity across all platforms.
  • Perform additional tasks, projects, or responsibilities as requested by leadership to support the digital marketing team and broader organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in digital marketing analytics or a similar role, preferably in hospitality, travel, or eCommerce.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, with demonstrated experience implementing custom events and conversions.
  • Skilled in Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), with a strong portfolio of dashboards and visualizations.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution models and their strategic implications.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to tell stories with data and influence decisions.
  • Familiarity with cross-channel marketing (search, social, email, web) and KPIs across the customer journey.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Statistics, or relevant work experience in digital marketing or marketing analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with hotel booking engines and hospitality-specific analytics tools (e.g., SynXis, Revinate).
  • Agency-side experience supporting multiple stakeholders and brands.
