Consumer Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy to market products and services to retail banking and consumer customers and prospects, overseeing end-to-end marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Launch sales and marketing programs that support new product introductions, geographies, market segments, and personas.
• Develop and implement effective cross-sell strategies to increase current retail and consumer banking relationships.
• Report monthly on marketing metrics to evaluate campaign efficacy and refine strategies, acting as the main point of contact for marketing reporting.
• Create relationships throughout the bank to serve as a trusted advisor to field teammates and a primary contact for consumer banking marketing discussions.
• Partner with internal teams such as Business Banking, Mortgage, Sales, and Sales Enablement to ensure integrated execution of programs.
• Recommend tools and technologies to advance consumer banking marketing objectives.
• Deliver messaging and creative advertising in partnership with the Advertising Director and external teams to enhance demand program performance.
• Manage all local field requests within the company ticketing system.
• Write, review, and proof marketing materials including emails, advertisements, and communications.
• Communicate regularly with retail field teammates through newsletters and other channels.
• Manage messaging and coordination of in-branch merchandising.
• Assist in managing the retail and consumer banking marketing budget.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with advertising vendors, agencies, and third-party suppliers.
• Manage company surveys and customer experience reporting via Qualtrics.
• Approve advertising materials that have been re-versioned from previously approved materials.
• Manage select third-party vendors and affiliates.

Requirements

• Proven ability to learn quickly, be resourceful, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, ownership approach to responsibilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workflow.
• Ability to write copy, proofread documents.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Experience in advertising, marketing, and project management with a minimum of 3 years.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• Experience with advertising agencies preferred.
• Adobe Design proficiency and Qualtrics experience preferred.
