About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Creating social media content for regular posting on the Coyote Advertising sites, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
• Supporting the development and execution of social media campaigns.
• Maintaining a consistent posting schedule and ensuring content aligns with university branding and messaging.
• Collaborating with faculty, staff, and other students as needed to produce engaging content.

Requirements

• Ability to learn and perform assigned work, follow oral instructions, and communicate effectively with all levels.
• Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
• Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulatively.
• Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 undergraduate units or 3 graduate units); international students must be enrolled full-time (12 undergraduate or 6 graduate units).
• Eligible to work in the United States with a Social Security Card.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Be well organized, able to multi-task, and possess excellent people skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate knowledge of social media content creation and posting.

Nice to Have

• Major or Minor in Communication Studies is preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional appearance and persona.
• Previous social media content creation and posting experience.
• Self-starter disposition to manage fluid social media environment.

Qualifications

• Admission or registration as a CSU student.
• Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater.
• Enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 undergraduate or 3 graduate units); full-time enrollment for international students.
• Eligible to work in the United States with a Social Security Card.

Benefits & Perks

• Anticipated hourly pay of $16.50.
• Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal position.
• On-campus work only, no telecommuting.
• Hours available Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) during the academic year and Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) in summer.
