WVIR-TV/GVIR-TV 29News is the dominant media station in Charlottesville, consistently the top-rated station in all news day parts, located on the historic Downtown Mall in Charlottesville's vibrant cultural district. 29News is seeking a self-motivated Creative Services Producer to join their award-winning team, responsible for creating exciting and emotion-driven advertising and content marketing alongside a creative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Create innovative commercial and promotional spots for WVIR and GVIR, from concept to completion.
Engage in creative scripting, shooting, and non-linear editing.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials.
Work with the marketing team to assist in the production of station promos.
Be involved in all aspects of commercial production as a team player.

Requirements

2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in marketing and/or commercial production preferred.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with strong skills in camera and editing.
Familiarity with DSLR equipment is an advantage.
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal employees and external organizations.
Some nights and weekends may be required.
A clean driving record is mandatory.
Working well under pressure and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with attention to detail.

College degree or equivalent experience.
