About the Role

The Customer Marketing Director at Coca-Cola will be a strategic thought leader responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for key food service customers in the West Region. The role involves driving value, increasing beverage incidence and profitability, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting customer programming throughout the year. The position requires a highly strategic, collaborative, innovative, and results-driven marketing leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, digital mindset, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of total beverage marketing strategies based on the overall customer strategy, leveraging national marketing initiatives.
  • Construct and deliver annual marketing calendars that contribute to the customer's long-term planning process and conduct customer marketing stewardship reviews.
  • Seek out and leverage national marketing initiatives, brand ideas, consumer insights, and internal tools to support customer strategies and increase consumer preference.
  • Develop long-term customer partnerships with ownership of senior-level marketing relationships.
  • Champion for both customer and Coca-Cola Company imperatives internally and externally to deliver on growth objectives.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to drive the partnership and business growth.
  • Present consumer and industry insights, interpret their implications, and recommend actions to support customer brands and categories.
  • Identify and leverage customer-specific and channel marketing opportunities through prioritizing insights and linking them to brand strategy.
  • Provide customer business and opportunity assessments, including competitive analysis and recommendations for expansion and market integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent education.
  • 5-10 years of business development experience in a consumer-packaged goods company, agency, or foodservice operator, preferably in both customer management and marketing roles.
  • Ability to recognize, understand, and interpret consumer behavior, brand strategies, channel, and customer needs and translate this knowledge into results.
  • Strong strategic thinking and application skills.
  • Demonstrated personal leadership and influencing ability.
  • Proficiency in using account performance data tools to support plans and opportunities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and storytelling ability.
  • Location preference for Dallas/Plano, Texas, with consideration for other locations in Texas.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%.
