About the Role

The Customer Marketing Lead - B2C at bp is a key role within the marketing team, supporting the development and execution of integrated omnichannel marketing strategies for Mobility & Convenience. Working globally as part of the Comms Planning, Channel & Execution sub-team, the role focuses on creating customer-centric marketing campaigns, driving loyalty, satisfaction, and long-term engagement across markets, and aligning strategies with global omnichannel initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of pan-M&C B2C annual omnichannel marketing plans, aligning with long-term integrated customer experience strategies.
  • Assist in aligning the channel execution strategy across PPC, SEO, marketing websites, paid social, ensuring quality and compliance standards.
  • Implement marketing strategies and activities aimed at maximizing marketing return on investment (MROI), improving brand health, increasing volume and profitability, and enhancing customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Help track channel performance, maintain quality and compliance, and guide testing and optimization strategies such as A/B testing.
  • Create tailored marketing initiatives based on customer insights and behaviors to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Contribute insights and suggestions for annual plans and budget decisions.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and messaging hierarchy, ensuring alignment with long-term CX strategy and annual omnichannel plans.
  • Collaborate with local markets to develop annual plans for local channel execution via the Hub, including PR and influencer activities.
  • Use operational knowledge and independent judgment to suggest process improvements and new ideas.

Requirements

  • B2C experience in customer marketing and campaign development.
  • Experience in channel management, including PPC, SEO, paid social, and digital content.
  • Analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and optimization strategies.
  • Ability to interpret customer data and apply insights to campaign strategies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a customer-obsessed approach that prioritizes long-term business impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing content strategy and content design.
  • Knowledge of marketing measurement and metrics.
  • Familiarity with developing creative marketing content and channel marketing activation.

Qualifications

  • Management experience in B2C marketing.
  • Experience with SEO, channel management, and digital marketing tools.
