Data Center Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing the portfolio to identify opportunities for growth, consolidation, or divestment, and making recommendations to maximize value.
• Collaborating closely with regional sales teams to ensure a unified approach towards the Data Center market.
• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of data center products, from ideation to retirement, including new product development, enhancements, and end-of-life planning.
• Ensuring the data center system and product portfolio aligns with the company's overall business strategy and goals.
• Supporting resource allocation across the portfolio to ensure optimal and efficient execution within the matrix organization.
• Identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for risks such as market shifts or regulatory changes.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess portfolio health and identify areas for improvement.
• Staying informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, sales) to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional teams, marketing, and sales.
• Establishing and enforcing communication standards across the portfolio to keep stakeholders informed of progress and performance.

Requirements

• Understanding of business strategy, financial ecosystems, and market dynamics.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for the data center portfolio.
• Deep technical knowledge of data center cooling, infrastructure, hardware, software, and IT systems.
• Analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Leadership skills to motivate and lead cross-functional regional teams in a matrix environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with product management in data center or related infrastructure fields.
• Knowledge of regulatory environments affecting data centers.
• Additional language skills beyond English.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center environments or related technical fields.
• Proven track record in portfolio management, strategic planning, or related roles.
