Job Description

About the Role

The Dealer Digital Performance Specialist supports the digital execution (process, tools, and strategies) between General Motors and its Dealers. They function as a Dealer support contact for 40-50 Dealers, working collaboratively to develop and implement digital programs, provide digital education, and facilitate the integration of go-to-market strategies within digital initiatives. The role involves supporting digital sales and service opportunities, optimizing digital engagement, and expanding dealer adoption of digital programs to improve performance and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the digital execution (process, tools, and strategies) between General Motors and its Dealers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealers across digital initiatives for sales and service.
  • Partner with the District Sales Manager and District Manager of Aftersales to identify digital sales and service opportunities and optimize digital engagement.
  • Conduct digital assessments of dealer's digital programs and review key performance indicators with dealers to develop action plans.
  • Coordinate dealer website customizations and escalate key vendor issues as needed.
  • Work with Brand/Aftersales Teams to drive execution of divisional/go-to-market strategies across digital focus areas such as website, digital advertising, consumer marketing, leads, service, digital signage, social/reputation management, and other digital services.
  • Expand dealer adoption and utilization of brand/aftersales digital programs, holding accountability for participation and KPIs.
  • Facilitate, coach, and consult with dealers to meet digital sales and service objectives and dealership goals.
  • Coach dealers on customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 to 2 years' experience.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising and marketing (Websites, SEO, SEM, Social, Lead Management/CRM, consumer marketing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of automotive digital vendor ecosystem.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to influence business partners and manage cross-functional groups.
  • Computer skills to develop, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Ability to adapt to various levels of dealership digital expertise.

  • Dealership/automotive experience.
  • Digital retail experience.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Competency in basic performance consulting processes such as Root Cause Analysis and Action Plans.
