About the Role

Shift Digital is a leader in digital marketing program optimization within the automotive industry, established in 2008 and headquartered in Birmingham, Michigan. The company provides comprehensive solutions to help national brands and local retailers measure, manage, and improve their digital marketing and sales initiatives. The Digital Advertising Program Manager - Data & Analytics will support OEM accounts by managing digital advertising programs, data infrastructure, and client relationships, primarily serving automotive dealerships from the Laguna Beach, CA office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all data for the program, including data delivery by vendors, data health and quality, and ensuring compliance with data integrations and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and improve processes to manage program data and workflows.
  • Analyze program performance across various segments such as region, dealer, vendor, and channel to identify trends and support data-driven decision making.
  • Implement systems to track progress and optimize media campaigns based on performance data.
  • Manage and ensure high integrity of Data Quality Assurance and Quality Check processes, including outliers reporting and vendor compliance.
  • Lead reporting initiatives using multiple data sources to create comprehensive, understandable reports on weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc basis.
  • Develop case studies to showcase performance and demonstrate lift of initiatives.
  • Understand system interactions and technical specifications to assess infrastructure impacts.
  • Align technical projects with business goals and communicate complex processes to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support projects from initiation to delivery, providing direction to internal teams and managing scope, expectations, and milestones.
  • Proactively support QA activities and analyze performance of products and services.
  • Manage requirement gathering, project planning, and delivery of new features or functions.
  • Support growth opportunities, new programs, and dealer billing coordination.
  • Participate in regular client status meetings and communicate program updates and tactics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Account Management and Digital Marketing experience, preferably within the Automotive Industry.
  • Solid understanding of the media landscape, including Google Ads and Meta, with knowledge of TradeDesk preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, including experience with large data sets and report creation.
  • Website integration/backend experience, working with APIs, WordPress, and plugins.
  • Experience working with data layers and understanding system interactions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Tableau for report development.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Program management skills to handle multiple projects and track KPIs.
  • Client management skills, including relationship building, issue resolution, and expectation setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
