LAist is a nonprofit newsroom that is seeking a strategic, creative, and mission-motivated professional to help convert digital engagement into lasting community support. The role involves leading innovative efforts to turn digital audiences into meaningful financial contributions that sustain journalism, blending digital fundraising, marketing, and audience strategy. The position is part of the Membership team and collaborates closely with Product, Content, Engagement, and Marketing teams to launch and optimize campaigns that drive donor growth and deepen member engagement. This is a new role aimed at supporting public service journalism in Southern California.
